GAIA

According to the Greeks, in the beginning there existed only formless chaos.  Then that chaos settled into form and that form was the huge GAIA - the deep-breasted one, the earth.  Then GAIA desired love and she created Uranus (the heavens) and from them all else sprang.

GAIA is the source.  All life springs from her and to her all life returns in and endless cycle of birth and rebirth - love without end.  We too are one with GAIA - endless love and life.  Nothing can destroy us except our refusal to love.  Even then our destruction is only temporary because we are love and can be nothing else.
