A complex Greek moon goddess, ARTEMIS represents the variable energies of the feminine.  As the moon has many faces within it's monthly cycle, ARTEMIS symbolizes a woman's ability to move through her life assuming different roles at different times.

ARTEMIS reminds us to cherish the different phases of our lives.  Wholeness is achieved through incorporating the many aspects of ourselves:  Child, youth, woman, mother, crone.  Each has its' history - pain, triumphs, strengths, weaknesses.  The journey to wholeness is a life long journey.
