FLORA

This ancient Roman goddess was the embodiment of the flowering of all nature, including human nature.  The goddess of spring.  The female body was honoured at her festival - the festival of nude women.  It was believed that the best way to honour Flora was to make love.

Flora reminds us that the most important thing that we can do with our lives is to love.  All else is secondary.  Love is the fountain from which all else springs.  As women our nature is especially suited to love - loving ourselves, loving each other and loving the planet that nurtures us.  In these times it is especially important that we express that nature.
