AGISCHANAK

AGISCHANAK is the kindly goddess of the Tlingit people of Alaska.  AGISCHANAK is a powerful goddess capable of supporting the pillar on which the earth rests.  Were it not for her the pillar would have collapsed and the whole world would have fallen into the cosmic ocean.  She never fails to support the world despite being harassed by Raven the trickster.

AGISCHANAK reminds us that though often is seems we are asked to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, we are strong and capable and will not fail.
